WE-DIG

Berglund Construction and WE-DIG (Workplace Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Group) are committed to cultivating and preserving a culture of inclusion and connectedness in the workplace. We aim to create an organization that celebrates the diversity of our employees, clients, and subcontractors. Our culture is the result of our behaviors, our personal commitment, our curiosity, and how we collaborate. The collective sum of the individual differences, life experiences, knowledge, self-expression, and talent that our employees invest in their work represents not only part of our culture, but our reputation and Berglund’s success.

Unconscious Bias Training

Having a diverse, inclusive company has staggeringly positive impacts. However, unconscious bias can get in the way of true diversity and inclusivity.

Unconscious bias is fundamentally harmful, as it leads to an unfair, unethical — and potentially even toxic — environment at work. The best way to counter bias is through unconscious bias training.

Berglund Construction’s Unconscious Bias Training takes you through the steps of realizing what bias is, recognizing the negative aspects of bias, in addition to providing actionable methods to shed bias.

Be Anonymous. Be Heard.

At Berglund we want our employees to voice their concerns or report suspected criminal or illegal activity, unethical behavior or misconduct without fear of retaliation. We provide a confidential reporting portal available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
