Project Overview

Berglund Construction completed the interior build-out of an ambulatory surgery unit at Northwestern Memorial Hospital's downtown Chicago campus. The ambulatory surgery department features eight fully-equipped operating rooms, 27 pre & post-operation rooms, a laser room, pharmacy nurses stations and a sterilization and clean storage area. Berglund was also a part of building out the reception, waiting and back-of-the house areas. All of the new MEPFP systems were fully coordinated via BIM technology and included installation of a new De-Ionized (DI) water system.
