Project Overview

The new 8,000-sqft addition to the East Chicago Lighthouse Charter School includes four classrooms, seven administration offices, two restrooms, a new playground and a 50-space parking lot. The existing school renovation required the installation of 19 univents in 19 classrooms, replacing 28 doors and a new boiler. This was a 10-month project, finished just in time for school to start. Berglund worked closely with the architect and owner to establish phased scheduling, including the phasing of GMP portions as the designed completed.
