Yesterday, Swedish Covenant Hospital cut their ribbon to celebrate the Grand Opening of the new Yelda Family Emergency Department. This was a great accomplishment to the hospital as the ER remained open and active around the four different phases of construction. Berglund partnered with Anderson-Mikos Architects to create this new space for the hospital, staff and its patients. They will now have more space to better meet the needs of the patients and the community, a new sexual assault area to treat victims physically and psychologically, twenty-five acute care patient rooms, ten quick care triage rooms and four behavioral health rooms. This newly completed space will allow Swedish for further areas for treatment to improve efficiency. Thank you to the whole team for their great work on this project!
