Project Overview

Heritage Hall houses the Valparaiso University Law Clinic. The university takes great pride in this clinic, which trains graduates to become ethical, people-focused and service-minded attorneys. Heritage Hall had suffered from aging, fires, structural damage and water damage; the building could no longer meet the ongoing programs needs. Valparaiso University decided that a re-building project would best serve the program's needs. The university selected Berglund to rebuild Heritage Hall while preserving the original building's character. The new space provides Heritage Hall Law Clinic the room needed for the state-of-the-art center for legal education.
