Berglund Construction completed restoration work for the Arthur Rubloff Building located on the Northwestern Medical Campus. The building houses Northwestern University School of Law and Northwestern Medical.
The scope of work consisted of two entry plazas. The east plaza consisted of demolition of existing, reinstallation of existing granite and the installation of new granite panels to match the existing. New stainless steel handrails, new concrete walk-way and landscaping along with minor electrical and urethane injection repairs were also within the scope of work for the east plaza.
The south plaza consisted of demolition of existing, new concrete frost walls and footings, a new concrete ramp, new granite cladding, stairs and pavers, lighting upgrades and new landscaping.
