This work included the removal and replacement of pre-cast expansion joint material at the east main grandstands and the upper east balcony. Because much of the existing steel contained lead-based paint, a full abatement was required on the east side ramp steel and upper balcony steel.

After abatement was completed, the team repainted the structural ramp steel and balcony steel trusses, while carefully avoiding all light fixtures, speakers, cameras, and fans. The contractor provided all necessary lifts, scaffolding, and protective measures throughout the process to ensure the safety of workers and the protection of adjacent seating areas and floors.

The project concluded with a thorough final cleaning of all impacted areas, restoring the space to a clean, safe, and fully functional condition.
