At St. Mary’s Church, Berglund completed a focused restoration effort to stabilize and strengthen key elements of the building’s first-floor structure. The work included wood framing repairs to first-floor joists, tuckpointing at brick pilasters and stone foundation walls, and installation of a new underdrain system to help address moisture concerns below grade. A new slab-on-grade was also installed in the basement to support the long-term performance of the space. Electrical work was completed to support the broader restoration activities and maintain coordination across trades. Together, these improvements support the ongoing restoration work while addressing critical structural and infrastructure needs.
