Project Overview

Berglund performed restoration work on the Harold Washington Social Security Administration building. Work included the restoration of existing limestone and granite faceade, the removal of the existing glazing system and the attachment of a new 65,000 sqft curtainwall system to the existing structural members. During construction the building was occupied and there was tight on-site security clearances.
