Ralph H. Metcalfe - Alley Wall Restoration
Scope of work included performing lead and asbestos abatement and removing select metal panels from the alley, roughly 25 of them, and bring them off site to have them repaired and painted. The panels that remained in place were prepared and repainted. A bollard was removed and a new one was installed with waterproofing repairs performed and new concrete being poured back. Berglund performed plaster work at the all the soffits in the alley. Once the panels taken off site were repaired, they were brought back to site to be reinstalled and painted. One of the challenges on this project was working in an active alley with delivery trucks moving in and out at all times throughout the day.
