Project Overview

The Regatta is a 49-story luxury condominium tower located in Chicago's New East Side. The New Regatta Fitness Center project required renovating approximately 4,850-sqft of space on the building's first floor in an area formerly occupied by a real estate sales office. The new space includes a fitness center, private office for the building manager and an expanded community room.

Approach

We completed the project with minimal disruption to the condominium residents. We scheduled deliveries to minimize the use of driveways and entrances by construction operations and the space and time requirements for the storage of materials and equipment on site. The project required a full range of interior general, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and electrical work.

Outcomes

The new fitness center includes space for aerobics and yoga, cardio equipment, universal workout equipment, free weights and storage areas for equipment and personal items. This renovation provided a high quality space and amenities for the exclusive use of Regatta residents.
