Project Overview

At Locke Elementary School, Berglund undertook a comprehensive restoration and reinforcement of the concrete structure of the historic 1920s-era building. The project encompassed extensive structural repairs to ensure the building's longevity and safety. Additionally, Berglund replaced windows, conducted masonry and terra cotta repairs, and renovated the interior of the gymnasium and auditorium, enhancing the functionality and aesthetic appeal of these spaces. The project also included upgrades to the site, such as asphalt repairs, ADA accessibility enhancements, and landscaping improvements, creating a more welcoming and functional environment for students, staff, and visitors.
