Project Overview

The new four-story, 50,000-sqft Chapman Center building is located near Chicago Avenue and Wells Street on the Moody Bible Institute campus. The building serves as a modern and integrated facility for Moody Bible Radio, which is broadcasted throughout more than 70 countries worldwide. It is also a training facility for the communications students. The structure is made up of concrete, structural steel and precast floor planks. The building is clad with architectural precast walls panels, fiber cement rain screen panels, curtain wall and storefront glass.

Moody Radio and Moody Publishers will reside and collaborate in this state-of-the-art space in the areas of digital publishing, multimedia production and internet technology. It will also serve as a hands-on laboratory for training Moody's communications students in a real-world media environment.

With our radio and publishing ministries having a single, state-of-the-art space in which to collaborate and create, and to mentor the next generation of Christian leaders in media, Moody’s mission to equip people with the truth of God’s Word is entering an exciting and historic season of growth. We are extremely grateful to those who have prayerfully and financially supported this project and are excited to build on the Chapman’s legacy in the area of marriage and family, as well as media and conference ministry.”
