Berglund provided masonry restoration services for the historic Cana Island Lighthouse in Bailey’s Harbor. The work focused on preserving the lighthouse’s original masonry construction while addressing deterioration within the 70-foot light tower and adjacent innkeeper’s residence.

The restoration included interior tuckpointing, selective brick replacement and repairs using traditional lime putty mortar compatible with the historic masonry. Berglund also completed tuckpointing and repairs to the existing foundation, helping protect the structural integrity and historic character of this important local landmark.
