Project Overview
Berglund undertook a highly efficient phased renovation project within a fully operational children's hospital, showcasing our proficiency in fast-track execution. The endeavor focused on enhancing the inpatient floor, encompassing the addition of five vital critical care patient rooms, complete with associated support areas. These support spaces encompassed a range of essential facilities, including a new IT Room, Play Room, Nurse Station, Conference Room, and Locker Rooms.
Furthermore, our commitment extended to corridor and elevator lobby upgrades, as well as the implementation of comprehensive MEPFP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection) and IT system upgrades. It is worth noting that stringent adherence to Infection Control best practices and meticulous communication with hospital ownership were paramount in our strategy to minimize disruption to the existing Children's inpatient areas throughout the phased renovation process.
