Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Management Intern to assist our project management team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about various aspects of construction management, including project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and on-site operations.
You will be paired with a Project Manager and team on one of our construction sites in the Chicagoland area. We intend to expose you to real-life situations in the field and office. You will also be involved in training sessions, jobsite tours, and safety responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects
- Support project managers in tracking project timelines, budgets, and resources
- Conduct site visits to observe construction processes and safety protocols
- Help prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and change orders
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on project strategies
- Research materials, methods, and technologies to improve project efficiency
- Assist with quality control inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications

- Currently college student entering their Junior or Senior year pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Strong interest in the construction industry and project management
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with project management software is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Reliable self-transportation to and from work-related activities and assignments daily
- Ability to work in the Chicagoland area including far north and /or south suburbs
