Berglund is excited to welcome Jameel Norris to our Berglund team! He will be working with our downtown office and helping with our Estimating, Project Management and Accounting departments. Jameel comes to Berglund through the All Stars Project which works in neighborhoods that have been hit the hardest by violence — the South and West Sides. The All Stars Project of Chicago has brought development opportunities to 10,000 young people over the last eight years. The business and philanthropic communities have stepped up with All Stars to address the city’s tough issues, and are expanding the All Stars Talent Show Network and the Development School for Youth at record speed.
Jameel started with Berglund on June 25th and has already shown great eagerness to learn and develop his skills. He will be a high school senior in the fall at ACE Technical Charter High on the South Side of Chicago. Their mission is to provide their students with the highest levels of instruction and academic achievement combined with exemplary character development that will prepare them for post-secondary and apprenticeship education and sustained lifelong success.
