Berglund Construction met and exceeded St. Mary Medical Center’s goals when it built a six-story inpatient facility under tight deadlines.

We not only completed the building within 18 months, we sequenced five rooms at once to complete finish construction for patient rooms within four months. The work encompassed elements that included drywall, acoustical ceiling, wall coverings, vinyl flooring and special plumbing finishes.

The 124,000-square-foot, brick-and-limestone building features central nurses’ stations amid 121 large all-private patient rooms with baths. The design and construction gives patients and their families a sense of staying in a comfortable hotel.
