Project Overview

The Porter County Community Foundation is committed to fostering collaboration to build a stronger nonprofit sector and, in turn, a strong Porter County, IN. Promoting community philanthropy and demonstrating that we all have the power to do good is fundamental to the mission of the Foundation. The new Center for Community Philanthropy is now the hub for this philanthropic energy.

Berglund constructed a 12,800-sqft interior build-out. The project included 10 new offices, three large conference rooms with folding partition walls, two smaller conference rooms and an eat-in kitchen. Along with the installation of 10 new rooftop units, there was also minor façade work and parking lot resurfacing to accent the property's new landscaping and masonry sign. This project was LEED Certified Gold.

The new offices and meeting rooms bring Foundation staff and board together to work, collaborate and expand their mission. It's a hub for the Porter County Community Foundation to continue to do the work encouraging and facilitating philanthropy of all kinds.
