Project Overview

Berglund Construction completed a multi-phased interior renovation of Mercy Hospital’s Birthing Center located on the third floor of Mercy’s Tower Building. The project posed multiple challenges to the construction team due to the sensitivity of the construction area & the daily challenges involved with a complex gut renovation of an occupied patient treatment floor. This project involved abatement, environmental consulting, complex retrofit of aged MEPFP and medical gas systems, along with unique architectural features such as radius’s millwork and flooring, custom headwalls, & green lighting systems.
