Berglund Construction Hires Corey S. Zussman, AIA, NCARB as new Director of Quality Management.

Corey started at Berglund in December of 2007. His position is Director of Quality Management.  Mr. Zussman will be visiting jobsites and to oversee and promote construction quality directives as a vital component of overall construction quality management.  He will continually develop standards, methods, and action items for an on-going effective quality management program.  In addition, Corey will be heavily involved in Berglund's Preconstruction Projects, allowing us to achieve a higher level of quality from his knowledge while involved in the Preconstruction Phase of a project.

He is a graduate of Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) and holds a Bachelors of Architecture degree, with a minor in Construction Management. Corey has also obtained his MBA form IIT, specializing in Quality Management.

He comes to us directly form a Developer/Contractor building & rehabilitating numerous high-rise facilities in Chicago. Corey is an architect and has worked for the firm Stewart-Nosky Architects with clients in Retail, Healthcare and Commercial markets. He held the position of Senior Associate, responsible for overseeing all architectural drawings and construction site visits. In the course of his career, Corey has also worked with one of the Berglund's clients, Mercy Hospital. He held the position of Director of Architecture and Construction Manager for all projects.

Corey resides in Buffalo Grove, Illinois with his family (wife Sandra, (2) children Camey and Madelyn) and is an avid tennis player always looking for a match.
