Berglund Contruction promotes Jim Dyer to Senior Vice President Preconstruction

CHICAGO – Berglund Construction President, Fred Berglund, has announced the appointment of Jim Dyer to the position of Senior Vice President Preconstruction.  Dyer, a 23-year veteran of the Midwest Construction Region, will support client planning and project development initiatives for the Illinois and Indiana Building Divisions and support other Regional and National pursuits.  Prior to his promotion, Mr. Dyer served as Vice President Operations, with Estimating and Project Management oversight responsibilities for each of Berglund’s core markets.  He is a graduate of Purdue University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Technology.

Currently celebrating its 95th Anniversary, Berglund Construction provides Construction Management and General Construction services to Healthcare, Education, Government, Municipal, Commercial and Industrial clients.  The General Services Administration has recognized Berglund’s Restoration Division with its Excellence Award for Quality.  The Chicago Building Congress, the Chicago Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, the Landmarks Preservation Council of Illinois, the Construction Advancement Foundation of Northern Indiana and the Illinois Indiana Masonry Council have repeatedly recognized Berglund’s quality performance.
